CONTEST

The Qualifyng stage will be celebrated 26 and 27 April 2007 and the FINAL on Saturday 28th April. The draw will be on Saturday 21 April, al the end of the evening classes.

RULES

1. Participation in the contest is open to ACTIVE and NON ACTIVE & CONTEST inscriptions. except to the winners of the First Price in the two previous editions.

2. There will be two stages :

Qualifying competition : You can perform a free program of maximum 12 minutes long.

Final Competition : You must perform a free program with 20 minutes maximum with pieces don’t performed in the qualification stage

3. If the case of the maximum playing time will be exceeded, the contestant could be penalized by the jury.

4. Participants will give to the organization three copies of music scores in every stage at least one day before the competition. It´s essential requisite the presentation of the scores to take part in the Contest.

JURY
It will be made up by relevant musicians in the music world. The Jury´s decisions will be final.

- - A Classic Guitar made by the lutier Paco Santiago Marin, valued in 8,000 Euros
- - 2 Concerts with the Extremadura Symphony Orchestra.

Second Award
- - 800 Euros*
- - One concert for the Guitar Asociation of Extremadura.
- - Savarez String sets
- - Certificate

Third Award
- - 600 Euros*
- - Savarez String sets
- - Score sets (ed. Piles)
- - Certificate.

Audience Award (decide by audience votes)
- - 300 euro*. This prize is cumulative with any other one.
