INTERNATIONAL YOUTH PERFORMANCE COMPETITION

"ÁNGEL IGLESIAS" 2025

COMPETITION RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. The deadline for entries is 5 September 2025.

2. There will be two phases: A PREVIOUS phase by video and a FINAL phase in Arroyo de la Luz.

3. The maximum age to apply for the International Classical Guitar Performance Competition "Ángel Iglesias" Youth category will be up to 20 years old.

4. The jury will be made up of personalities from the world of music and guitar of recognised national, international and regional prestige.

5. The scores will be sent by email in a single pdf file to arroyodelaluzfestival@gmail.com or can also be sent to jasangonz@gmail.com together with the registration form. It is not necessary to attach the scores of the FINAL phase until they are requested by the organization once the selection has been made. More information at 675259566

REGISTRATION

Registration must be made using the form below.

The deposit must be paid into the account ES59 3001 0043 3943 2001 5303 (Caja Almendralejo) in the name of AGUICEX, specifying: [name of the participant] Competition 2025.

REGISTRATION FEE: 30 €.

YOUNG COMPETITION

Up to 20 years of age

This modality will consist of two rounds:

PREVIA STAGE: The contestant must send a video of maximum 7 minutes with free repertoire. The video must be recorded without editing and the contestant must state his/her full name at the beginning of the video and specify that it is a video for the PREVIA phase of the International Classical Guitar Competition "Ángel Iglesias" 2025.

The video must be uploaded to Youtube and send a private link for the jury's evaluation.

The jury's decision of the final phase will be published on the Aguicex website. The selected contestants will be informed who will go on to the final phase.

FINAL STAGE: The contestants who have been selected and passed the PREVIA stage, will participate in the Final of the Contest that will take place on Sunday 21st September in person at the Corral de Comedias de Arroyo de la Luz.

For this phase the contestant will present a repertoire of free choice of maximum 18 minutes of duration.

FIRST PRIZE

Esteve Guitar model ALEGRÍA . With hard case (all valued at around 1.800 euros)

2.000 € Euros (with the corresponding IRPF withholding of the prizes).

Paid concert at the next International Guitar Festival "Arroyo de la luz. Tajo-Salor" 2026

Paid concert for the Cacereña Musical Association in the season 2025/2026.
